| Problem | Criticality Analysis is performed on every IV&V project in the Facility on startup and at regular intervals during their lifecycle. Current processes are generally manual and time consuming, requiring long group meetings to accomplish agreement of results. A database will be designed to support entry of individual or small group analysis results, compilation of multiple results into project-level summary reports, iterative discussion-driving interfaces, automated generation of deliverable reports and tables, and comparative analysis across past projects. The research will help smooth the process of completing criticality assessments, reduce the amount of time required to complete assessments, and allow for comparison of similar assessments to assist in verification of results as well as the rationale used to generate the assessment scoring. |
